Mixed Media Mania

Start time for January 23rd is 6pm. A short business meeting will take place before the fun begins with four different planned activities. Please let Denise Spillane and Traci Hutton know if you plan on attending, We want to make sure there are plenty of kits for everyone who plans to come. Even if you are undecided or on the fence about attending, give us a "maybe" response. This will help us be better prepared and not overstocked with our supplies.

Members will rotate through four stations, making a different project at each table: a new name badge, a fun little felted item, a cool zipper flower, and an interesting knotted project.

We have four fun events lined up. The fee is only $5 per person for the whole evening. What a deal! Exact change is always encouraged and appreciated. Don't forget to bring your kit as you may need it.

We hope that you decide that you have fun with this event,  starting off the new year with your DAFA friends. Come for fellowship, come for fun, come to learn and share, come to be a part of a great group of creative people.

Make a New Name Badge

April Soncrant will help you make new name badges. She will have various materials for you use to adorn your new name badge. Be as creative as you like, using various materials, in the size of your choice, etc. Keep it handy for every DAFA meeting!

Don't forget to receive a pin for the back of your badge.

Spring Flower

Traci Hutton will help you create this beautiful and interesting flower. You can make it into a pin or decide to use it in some other fashion. It is amazing what you can make with a zipper!

Sweet Felted Sheep

Carol Kovacs will show members how to create a felted sheep with googly eyes! Use it as a pin or in a pocket or anywhere for fun!

The Art of the Knot

Chuck Baber will lead us on a knot making adventure. We always learn something from Chuck's wealth of knowledge. He will do a simple single knot. Once you learn that you can add to it for more intricate knots.
